  • Golden grain pigskin protects the palm with exceptional durability, & due to its porous nature, remains soft & flexible after getting wet
  • Comfortable, form-fitting polyester & elastic knit wrist at pulse-point helps retain warmth
  • Reinforcement leather pull-tab added to knit wrist helps to reduce stress on the cuff seams & avoids stretching the knit when pulling gloves on & off

  • 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective knuckle strap offers industry leading reflectivity to maximize visibility & safety in hazardous low light conditions
  • Wrap-around index finger design creates increased durability & comfort, & ensures that the high-rub areas on the exterior of the finger are not compromised by potential thread or seam failures
  • Golden grain pigskin patches at the distal end of the fingers provide a protective barrier around the fingernails & fingertips, which reinforces the base material & seams for added wear
  • Leather welt at high-contact base of middle & ring fingers reinforces seam strength & durability
  • Angled wing thumb design, which is seamless between the palm & thumb, offers additional flexibility & comfort
  • High-performance signature Heatkeep® thermal insulation, laminated with a soft TR2 inner lining, provides superior heat retention by trapping heat, repelling the cold, & wicking away moisture
  • aquaNOT!® waterproof insert lines the entire interior of the glove to keep hands dry in wet conditions
  • Gunn cut pattern allows for fewer seams between the fingers, reduces the exposure of seams in high-wear areas of the palm, & allows the back-of-hand base material to remain seamless for longer wear & comfort

I am a huge fan of Kinco winter gloves. Take a look around at the ski resorts employees and see how many are happy to wear an economical, durable Kinco glove or mitten with some Snoseal on it day in day out. They are so popular that now there are at least four “high end” outdoor gear manufacturers that have made more expensive copies of Kinco gloves and mittens. I instruct skiing in Colorado. I bought a pair of 1938 KWP specifically, because they are very bright, and this helps my students distinguish me from other instructors on the hill. My one big negative thing to say about this glove, is that the plastic water proof liner in my glove is not very breathable when hands sweat. So much so, that the glove did not dry out over night, so I un-stitched the glove and removed it. I do not miss it at all in dry Colorado, and just recommend to folks to buy the non waterproof model if their hands sweat. The nylon will fade after a lot of sun exposure, but that does not affect the function. At the price point and durability, Kinco gloves can not be beat!

The company I used to work for provided these for us to wear during the winter for some reason after we had to provide out own for many years. I didn’t think a lot about it until it dawned on me one day that it had been years since my hands were wet or cold, no matter the weather. I had previously believed mittens were required for serious winter use in all conditions (outdoors at all hours for a full shift in Iowa, down to -30F in the winter). I don’t know what material they use to waterproof these or insulate them, but it’s legit magic. These gloves somehow never make your hands hot while never allowing them to get cold or wet. Sorcery perhaps, but if you work outdoors and it’s cold buy these. Don’t look at other stuff, just buy ’em. Best gloves I’ve ever worn and they gave ’em to us. Never got cuts or rips on the palms either despite sharp edges around.
