Employee-Centric Culture Earns Kinco ‘Top Workplaces’ Spot
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PORTLAND, OR, [September 26, 2021] – BIG NEWS! We are incredibly excited to announce that Kinco® has been recognized as a 2021 Top Workplace in Oregon and southwest Washington by The Oregonian / OregonLive!
Being named a Top Workplace is a big deal — only 119 companies made this year’s list. In fact, we placed 49th in the small business category of 2,116 small, medium, and large employers that were nominated.
The award is based solely on feedback from an employee survey administered by a third-party that our team completed just a few months ago. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including:
Alignment | Where the company is headed, its values, cooperation, effective meetings
Coaching | Managers care about concerns, are helpful, encourage employee development
Connection | Employees feel appreciated, work is meaningful, working at full potential, feel informed
Engagement | Productivity, retention, recruiting Leadership: confidence in company leaders
Performance | Execution, open-mindedness, innovation, clued-in leadership
Basics | Pay, benefits, work/life flexibility, training, expectations |
There's more! In addition to announcement on OregonLive, The Oregonian also shared the full list in today's publication where Kinco® (and Welch®) were featured in a small editorial.
We couldn't be more thankful for this honor and hope that you share in our excitement!
